The feed comprises the following components in parts by weight: 43-53 parts of corn, 13-15 parts of wheat, 23-21 parts of sorghum, 15-20 parts of peas, 0.25-0.5 part of methionine, 0.2-0.5 part of lysine, 0.2-0.4 part of calcium phosphate, 0.2-0.4 part of red mud, 0.2-0.4 part of bone meal and 0.5-1 part of vitamins, wherein the components of the feed can be different according to seasons. The invention further discloses a feeding method which comprises a step of feeding baby pigeons or young pigeons with the feed, and preferably further comprises a step of feeding the baby pigeons or the young pigeons with healthcare sand.
