Abstract

The invention relates to feed for baby pigeons or young pigeons. The feed comprises the following components in parts by weight: 43-53 parts of corn, 13-15 parts of wheat, 23-21 parts of sorghum, 15-20 parts of peas, 0.25-0.5 part of methionine, 0.2-0.5 part of lysine, 0.2-0.4 part of calcium phosphate, 0.2-0.4 part of red mud, 0.2-0.4 part of bone meal and 0.5-1 part of vitamins, wherein the components of the feed can be different according to seasons. The invention further discloses a feeding method which comprises a step of feeding baby pigeons or young pigeons with the feed, and preferably further comprises a step of feeding the baby pigeons or the young pigeons with healthcare sand. By adopting the feeding method disclosed by the invention, the nutrition of the baby pigeons or the young pigeons can be ensured, meanwhile the feed cost can be lowered, and moreover, the problems of dyspepsia, nutrition deficiency and the like caused as the baby pigeons or the young pigeons do not peck the healthcare sand can be solved.
