Abstract

The dryer comprises a roller used for holding to-be-dried clothes, an air inlet channel configured to guide air from the external environment of the clothes dryer to the roller, a heating device arranged in the air inlet channel and configured to heat air flowing through the channel in order to form hot air with temperature higher than the ambient environment, an air exhaust channel configured to exhaust hot air to the external environment of the clothes dryer after flowing through the roller, as well as a heat-exchanging device comprising a heat absorption part, and a heat releasing part. The heat absorption part is arranged in the air exhaust channel to absorb heat from hot air of the air exhaust channel. The heat releasing part is arranged in the air inlet channel and located at the upstream of the heating device so that heat absorbed by the heat absorption part is utilized to pre-heat air of the air inlet channel before the air reaches the heating device. The clothes dryer makes full use of heat energy of hot and humid air so that utilization rate of heat energy is improved, thereby reducing heating power of the heating device and reducing energy consumption.
