The data updating method comprises the steps of: receiving a data updating request sent by a first application server, wherein the first application server is one of application servers deployed in clusters; and when receiving a service processing request, sending the service processing request to the application servers deployed in clusters except the first application server if information about completion of data updating sent by the first application server is not received. The data updating method realizes the decoupling of the data updating process and the service processing process of the application server, ensures that normal access and service processing of a user cannot be affected during the data updating process of the application server, and reduces the data disorder problem which is possible to occur because service processing is performed simultaneously in the data updating process.
