The invention discloses an energy-saving system of an excavator. The energy-saving system is mainly composed of an engine direct-driven fan transmission loop, an energy accumulator control fan motor loop and an energy accumulator control drive motor loop. The energy-saving system comprises an oil tank, a variable hydraulic pump, a first variable hydraulic motor, a quantitative hydraulic pump, an engine, a transfer case, a fan, a second variable motor, a first switching valve, a first direction valve, a second direction valve, a second switching valve, a third direction valve, a pressure valve and an energy accumulator. The engine direct-driven fan transmission loop is composed of the engine, the transfer case, the fan and the first direction valve. According to the energy-saving system, recycled energy stored in the energy accumulator is used for directly driving the heat dissipation hydraulic motor, no other links are adopted in the process, and the transmission efficiency is high. Meanwhile, no coupling happens to a working oil cylinder and the motor, the operation performance of the whole machine is not affected, and utilization of the recycled energy is improved.
