Abstract

The invention discloses a multi-mode configurable FFT (Fast Fourier Transform) processor and method supporting DAB (Digital Audio Broadcasting) and CDR (Code Division Register). The FFT processor comprises a top layer control module, an address generation module and a configurable operational circuit module. The configurable operation circuit module comprises a butterfly operation unit, an input control module, a twiddle factor generation unit and a twiddle factor multiplication unit. The configuration information received by the FFT processor is analyzed by the top layer control unit to obtain a working mode, an operation point number and a butterfly operation layer number; and performing configurable reconstruction on the butterfly arithmetic unit by using the working mode. Arbitrary configuration and operation of different operation points under two standard different modes of DAB and CDR are carried out by reconstructing a butterfly operation structure; the FFT processor is compatible with two standards of DAB and CDR and can quickly reconstruct processing units with different operation functions, the operation efficiency is improved, the resource consumption is reduced, and the circuit area is reduced.
