Compression springs with the two ends abutting against the stuffing base and the stuffing gland correspondingly are arranged on each screw. The stuffing ring is provided with a deformation ring groove arranged in the ring direction of the stuffing ring. The stuffing is arranged between the stuffing ring and the stuffing gland in the axial direction of the pump shaft. In the water pump seal stuffing box structure, through the joint action of the deformation ring groove of an I-shaped structure and the compression springs, generation of gaps during deformation of the stuffing in the cold and heat state is avoided, accordingly, the sealing performance of a stuffing box is prevented from being affected, and the work reliability of the stuffing box is improved.
