Abstract

Through combining a maximum between-cluster variance method and a morphological filtering method, an ocean oil spilling image is filtered. The method is characterized by through the maximum between-cluster variance method, acquiring a binary image of the image, and then carrying out expansion for two times and corrosion for two times on the binary image respectively; subtracting a gray value of an expanded image from a corroded binary image gray value so as to acquire a local area binary image including a boundary; and finally, carrying out inner product on a local area and an original image gray scale so that an original image can be simplified, only remaining a filtering area including oil spilling and a suspected oil spilling boundary, and then using a filtering template to filter the filtering area.
