Abstract

The method comprises the steps that after a monitor proxy is implanted in a virtual switch and a virtual network function (VNF) of an NFV resource pool, the monitor proxy receives network planning information delivered by a software defined network (SDN) controller, wherein the network planning information comprises a network planning topology; the monitor proxy acquires, according to the network planning topology, information of a neighbor node of a node at where the monitor proxy is; and the monitor proxy detects a condition of network connection between the node at where the monitor proxy is and the neighbor node, and feeds back the condition of network connection to the SDN controller, so as to enable the SDN controller to discover a current network topology of the NFV resource pool according to the condition of network connection of all nodes in the NFV resource pool.
