The method comprises the following steps of receiving touch control operation of a user at a mobile terminal screen edge; determining whether the received touch control operation satisfies a preset screen capture condition; if the received touch control operation satisfies the preset screen capture condition, from a corresponding relation of the preset touch control operation and a screen capture mode, determining a target screen capture mode corresponding to the received touch control operation; and using the target screen capture mode to capture a current display interface. In embodiments of the invention, the mobile terminal can receive the operation of the user at the mobile terminal screen edge; through the touch control operation of the user, screen capture operation of the mobile terminal is triggered; and simultaneously according to the touch control operation of the user, an expected capture mode of the user is determined so that screen capture is performed, and a purpose of simply and rapidly carrying out the screen capture operation is reached.
