The method comprises the following steps that creating a state ID (Identity) sequence of which the sequence values are sorted from small to large in sequence; if an editing operation is carried out under an editing state, recording edited data in a corresponding version table, and recording a version ID and an editing flag; on the basis of a time sequence of the editing operation, enabling the editing operation to be related to the sequence values which are taken out of the state ID sequence in sequence; enabling the sequence values to be related to the ID of an edited base version table; according to a version change table, judging whether one base version table is changed or not; if the base version table is changed, correspondingly changing the base version table according to a version table corresponding to the base version table; meanwhile, enabling an update operation to be related to a next sequence value of the state ID sequence; enabling the next sequence value to be related to the ID of the updated base version table; and publishing the base version table. By use of the method, a plurality of client sides can carry out collaborative editing on same or different base version tables on the basis of different editing tasks.
