Abstract

The invention provides a method, device and equipment for obtaining information of multimedia files. The method comprises the following steps of: obtaining feature information of a multimedia file and sending the feature information to a network server, wherein the feature information is used by the network server for determining associated description content of the multimedia file; receiving the associated description content, sent by the network server, of the multimedia file; and displaying at least a part of the associated description content of the multimedia file so that the users can know specific information of the multimedia file without being limited by information of the multimedia files of interconnection equipment, thereby improving the degree of understanding the multimedia file by the users and improving the seeing and hearing experiences of the users.
