Abstract

The invention discloses a method for backup of access points of Internet of Things. The method comprises the following steps of obtaining a backup access point of a first access point and backing up cache data of the first access point to the backup access point; when the first access point is detected to have a fault, taking a third access point as the backup access point of a second access point; and switching an Internet of Things terminal or a repeater connected to the first access point to the second access point and sending the cache data of the second access point as the third access point of the backup access point of the second access point. The invention also discloses a device for backup of the access points of the Internet of Things. According to the method and the device, the paralysis of the Internet of Things, which is caused by the failure of the access point, can be avoided, and the fault resistance of the Internet of Things is improved.
