The invention provides a power planning method and device for a power distribution network, equipment and a computer readable storage medium. The power planning method comprises the steps that (1) the abundance and peak load regulation margin of a main transformer, a generator set and a power load outside a system are determined; (2) a probability corresponding to the abundance is predicted, and an abundance probability table is formed according to the abundance and the corresponding probability; (3) power balance calculation is performed according to the abundance probability table to obtain values of main transformer capacity, installed capacity and new energy set capacity needing to be increased outside the system; (4) power balance calculation is performed according to the abundance probability table to obtain off-grid capacity of the main transformer and capacity which should be generated by the generator set outside the system; (5) prediction is performed according to historical data to obtain a probability corresponding to the peak load regulation margin, a peak load regulation margin probability table is formed according to the peak load regulation margin and the corresponding probability, and the electric quantities of wind curtailment and light curtailment are obtained through calculation; and (6) a power load curve is corrected, so that the electric quantities of the wind curtailment and the light curtailment are smaller than a predetermined value.
