The method includes processes for preventing the degeneration of cynodon lawn which is constructed for shorter than 3 years and processes for repairing the degeneration of cynodon lawn which is constructed for longer than 3 years and is already under degeneration conditions. The processes for preventing the degeneration of the cynodon lawn include carrying out ground clinging trimming operation on the lawn when cynodon is in phases of withered and yellow periods; preventing the degeneration of the cynodon lawn grass by the aid of plant growth regulators applied in dormant periods. The processes for repairing the degeneration of the cynodon lawn include trimming the lawn in a ground clinging manner at first; primarily applying plant growth regulators with different ratios; carrying out sand covering treatment; applying plant growth regulators with different ratios again.
