Abstract

The invention discloses a batch refreshing method for firmware (FW) of non-volatile memory (NVME) disks. The method comprises the following steps of: setting up a refreshing environment and configuring FW refreshing tools and FW files, the versions of which are needed to be refreshed, for all nodes of an entire cabinet; and obtaining the in-place status of a NVME disk by a major node and refreshing the corresponding FW of the NVME disk according to the in-place condition of the NVME disk. Compared with the prior art, the method disclosed by the invention has the advantages of realizing batch and automatic refreshing of the FW of the NVME disk, greatly shortening the FW refreshing time and reducing the error rate.
