Abstract

The invention discloses a conversion rate enhancing circuit applied to an operational amplifier. The operational amplifier comprises a folded common-emitter common-base two-stage operational amplifier. The enhancing circuit is characterized by comprising a rising edge increasing circuit and a descending edge increasing circuit, wherein positive and negative input ends of the two increasing circuits are connected with positive and negative input ends of the operational amplifier respectively; a current output end of the rising edge increasing circuit is connected to a compensation capacitor node SRn of the first-stage operational amplifier; and a current output end of the descending edge increasing circuit is connected to a compensation capacitor node SRp of a second-stage operational amplifier. Through application of the conversion rate enhancing circuit, slew current is generated when the difference value of an input signal is up to a certain threshold to control the charging and discharging current of a compensating capacitor, so that the conversion efficiency of the operational amplifier can be increased effectively. Moreover, no influence is caused on a main circuit of the operational amplifier when the difference value of the input signal is less than the threshold, so that the full input domain following or responding ability of the folded common-emitter common-base two-stage operational amplifier is ensured.
