The rock core fracture extraction method comprises the steps of: dividing a rock core image tobe extracted into a plurality of superpixels; inputting an image in a minimum circumscribed rectangle of each superpixel into a pre-obtained fracture identification model, and acquiring a judgment result indicating whether the image in each minimum circumscribed rectangle comprises a rock core fracture; and acquiring the rock core fracture according to the judgment results of the images in all ofthe minimum circumscribed rectangles. The rock core fracture extraction system comprises an image segmentation module, a judgment module and an extraction module, wherein the image segmentation module is configured to segmenting the rock core image to be extracted into the plurality of superpixels; the judgment module is configured to acquire the judgment result indicating whether the image in each of the minimum circumscribed rectangles comprises the rock core crack; and the extraction module is configured to acquire the rock core fracture according to the judgment results of the images in all of the minimum circumscribed rectangles. The rock core fracture extraction method and the rock core fracture extraction system segment the rock core image into superpixels, and extract the rock core fracture by using the fracture identification model, thereby improving the precision of rock core fracture extraction.
