Abstract

The invention provides a coding parameter adaptive adjusting method based on a Monte Carlo method Markov chain. Initial coding parameter evaluation is conducted, the influences of coding parameters onthe performances and the coding time are analyzed, and the coding parameters which are closely related to the coding performances and the coding time are screened out; the parameters are classified according to the influences of the coding parameters on the coding time and the coding performances; and in the range of the specified coding complexity, configurations of various parameter combinations are randomly selected and used for conducting coding, state jumping is conducted when a certain critical condition is met, and the better parameter combination is selected to replace the current parameter combination. According to the method, the near-optimal coding parameter configuration is acquired on the premise that not all coding parameter combinations are traversed. The method is suitablefor optimization of coder level parameter adjusting, the coding performances of the high-complexity coding parameters are acquired by using the coding parameters with the low-complexity configuration, or the better coding performances are acquired under the same coding complexity condition.
