Abstract

The invention discloses a ceiling-embedded indoor unit. A shell is provided with a first air inlet, a second air inlet and an air outlet. A first air duct and a second air duct are defined in the shell. The first air duct communicates with the first air inlet. The second air duct communicates with the second air inlet. The first air duct and the second air duct are connected with the air outlet after intersecting with each other. A heat exchanger is located at an upstream position of the intersection of the first air duct and the second air duct in the air inlet direction. A fan operates to drive air flow entering the shell from the first air inlet to pass through the heat exchanger and then to flow towards the air outlet, and air flow entering the shell from the second air inlet bypassesthe heat exchanger and flows towards the air outlet. An air inlet area control element is used for controlling the air inlet area. A temperature detection element is used for detecting the inlet air temperature of the ceiling-embedded indoor unit. The air inlet area control element controls the air inlet area according to a temperature difference between the inlet air temperature and a set temperature of the ceiling-embedded indoor unit. The ceiling-embedded indoor unit further comprises a dehumidification device which is used for dehumidifying air entering the ceiling-embedded indoor unit through the second air inlet. Air coming out of the ceiling-embedded indoor unit is softer, and thus, the problem that condensation is likely to be caused by mixing of cold air and hot air in the ceiling-embedded indoor unit is solved.
