The foundation ditch monitoring method comprises the following steps that relative information of site surveyand collection is processed and input in the construction engineering foundation ditch monitoring system, and a foundation ditch monitoring scheme is developed based on monitoring requirements, specifications and regulations; measuring points are arranged, a soil and water pressure monitoring element, a sensor, an inclinometer pipe and a layered settlement pipe are embedded to monitor physical parameters of exterior-protected construction deformation and internal force, terrain movement and ground surface subsidence; early warning value degree is preset, the early warning value degree comprises deformation or internal force magnitude and change rate thereof; project data automatically collected and monitored by an on-site terminal are collected and uploaded automatically, analysis and processing are carried out by a central processing unit based on the uploaded data, and curve diagrams and monitoring reports are formed; the curve diagrams and monitoring reports are stored in a storagemodule and history memory is formed; and the curve diagrams and monitoring reports are printed by a printing module.
