A process for sub-dividing a laminated flooring substrate into a plurality of laminated flooring planks and a system therefore are described. The process can include providing a laminated flooring substrate having a decorative pattern on a core wherein the decorative pattern can include a plurality of indicators, and independently detecting the indicators with a plurality of detecting devices, each assigned a respective indicator. The detecting devices can individually obtain the position of the detected indicators and a control unit can align a separate saw blade per each position detected. The system includes a cutting unit with individually adjustable saws or an alignment device configured to align the laminated flooring substrate with the saws, to cut the laminated flooring substrate along positions relative to the detected indicators, for example, in the center thereof or off-set therefrom.

The present invention is a jig system for precisely positioning the placement of multiple cuts such as in the placement of dovetail or box joints cut in a wood panel. The jig system comprises: a stationary fixture; a spacer bar; a plurality of spacers engaged with the spacer bar, the spacers are adapted for lateral and rotational movement along the spacer bar thereby providing an engaged and non-engaged working mode; a sliding member adapted for lateral movement on the stationary fixture and for engaging at least one of the spacers in the engaged working mode; and means for holding the spacer bar and connecting the spacer bar to the stationary fixture while engaging with at least one of the spacers during the engaged working mode.

A method of forming a joint between first and second workpieces generally consisting of forming a recess in one of such workpieces, provided with at least one side wall having a serrated cross-sectional configuration with inwardly projecting, distortable segments; providing a portion in the other of such workpieces, insertable into such recess, having a cross-sectional configuration sufficient to engage and distort such segments as such portion is inserted into such recess; and inserting such portion of the other workpiece into such recess, causing the segments to distort and thus provide an interference fit between such workpieces.

A woodworking machinery jig and fixture system includes a track which is or may be attached to a fence, a convex-concave curved flip stop and a base which mounts the stop to the track. The stop has a projecting portion which penetrates the plane of the fence so the stop isn't lifted by the point of a mitered board. The stop also has a lower convex surface which faces the work support surface and curves up at both ends. The top leg of the stop is concave toward the fence to allow clearance for a zero-clearance board and make the stop adaptable to different track and fence configurations. The base has opposite sides of different widths bordered by steps on one side and a ramp on the other side so the base can be used in a large range of T-track slot widths. When the container is completely filled with propellant and air freshening composition, the air freshening composition may be released from the container at a flow rate of from about 0.0001 grams/second to about 1.2 grams/second. The method of freshening air, in certain embodiments, provides improved delivery of an air freshening composition using a non-hydrocarbon propellant. If malodor counteractants are used, the method may also provide a reduction in malodors.
