One specific embodiment of the method comprises the steps of obtaining to-be-pushed information from a preset first information set as first to-be-pushed information according to position information of a user; according to the current time, acquiring at least one piece of to-be-pushed information for the at least one target time period from a preset second information set to serve as second to-be-pushed information, wherein at least one piece of to-be-pushed information marked with time information is stored in the second information set; obtaining at least one piece of interest category information for the user from a pre-established third information set, wherein at least one piece of interest category information of at least one user is stored in the third information set; and determining target to-be-pushed information for pushing to the user based on the first to-be-pushed information, the second to-be-pushed information and the at least one piece of interest category information. According to the embodiment, associated storage of the geographic position and the time slice with the to-be-pushed information is avoided, and personalized information pushing is realized.
