In one embodiment, the transaction platform may collect transaction data of multiple transactions of merchants, and perform feature extraction based on the transaction data to obtain transaction features, wherein the extracted transaction features may include transaction locations generated according to location services. Transaction clusters falling within a predetermined geographic range can then be determined based on transaction location. If the transaction cluster includes more than a predetermined number of transactions, the merchant may be determined to be an offline merchant and the transaction cluster may represent an offline transaction point for the merchant.
