Problems solved by technology

However, due to problems such as MCC misselection, misuse or non-selection, incomplete verification mechanism, and lack of MCC when merchants sign contracts, the credibility based on MCC codes has also declined.
The method of determining trusted qualifications through merchant business licenses has a high accuracy rate for some industries, such as education and medical care, etc., but the coverage of industries is narrow and cannot meet the needs of trusted merchant applications

Embodiment Construction

[0044] The present disclosure will be further described below in conjunction with specific embodiments and drawings, but the protection scope of the present disclosure should not be limited thereby.

[0045] The present disclosure proposes a method and device for identifying offline merchants. In one embodiment, the transaction platform may collect transaction data of multiple transactions of merchants, and perform feature extraction based on the transaction data to obtain transaction features, wherein the extracted transaction features may include transaction locations generated according to location services. Transaction clusters falling within a predetermined geographic range can then be determined based on transaction location. If the transaction cluster includes more than a predetermined number of transactions, the merchant may be determined to be an offline merchant and the transaction cluster may represent an offline transaction point for the merchant.

Abstract

The invention provides a method and a device for identifying offline merchants. In one embodiment, a transaction platform may collect transaction data for a plurality of transactions of a merchant andperform feature extraction based on the transaction data to obtain a first transaction feature, where the first transaction feature may include a transaction location generated from a positioning service. Transaction clusters falling within a predetermined geographic range may then be determined from the transaction locations. If the transaction cluster includes more than a predetermined number of transactions, it may be determined that the merchant is an offline merchant and the transaction cluster may represent an offline transaction point of the merchant.

Description

technical field [0001] The present disclosure relates to the field of computers, and in particular to a method and device for identifying offline merchants. Background technique [0002] Merchants can sign up to the trading platform, and the trading platform will manage the merchant's transactions, such as electronic payment and settlement. Merchants may include offline merchants and online merchants. Offline merchants refer to merchants with offline physical business points, while online merchants do not have offline physical business points. The merchant credible strategy system is an important consideration for the trading platform in the management and operation of merchants, and it is also an important reference dimension for punishing risky merchants. Trading platforms sometimes need to identify offline merchants, and can implement targeted operational control for offline merchants, or prevent non-offline merchants from pretending to be offline merchants. With the e...
