According to the method, the HELM is used for calculating the power flow of the power distribution network, and the sensitivity of voltage to the injection power of each node is calculated according to an HELM-based sensitivity calculation method; the sensitivity of the total networkloss of the system to the injection power of each node is calculated according to the sensitivity of the voltage to the injection power of each node; and finally, a reactive compensation point schemeis obtained according to the sensitivity of the total network loss of the system to the injection power of each node. The HELM method is utilized, so that the nonlinear factor of sensitivity is considered; and with the reactive power compensation scheme adopted, more system network loss can be decreased, less investment is needed, and higher economical efficiency is realized.
