Embodiment Construction

[0018] see first figure 1 . The overall landmark of the washing machine shown here is 10. It represents a group of different types of electrical household appliances that can employ the present invention. In principle, the invention can be applied in any case where an electric household appliance has a door which rests movably against the appliance body and which has one or more electric loads in the door which allow to be supplied with electrical energy. In the case of the example shown, the washing machine 10 has a machine housing 12 which forms the device body (or a part thereof) within the meaning of the invention and in which is rotatably mounted in a manner known per se. Wash the drum (not shown). The washing drum can be arranged, for example, in a leaching container (not shown), which is accommodated in the machine housing 12 and mounted on the machine housing 12 in a vibration-damping manner. In the upper operating area of the machine housing 12, the washing mach...

Abstract

An electric household appliance, such as a washing machine, comprises an appliance body (12) and a door (18) for closing a working chamber of the household appliance, which door is mounted on the appliance body in a pivotable manner. The door is provided with an electric load device which is powered by a power supply system (30) of the household appliance, and in some embodiments, the load deviceis composed of one or more light-emitting display components (28). According to the invention, in order to supply power to the load device, the power supply system comprises a first sub-component group (32) arranged on the appliance body and a second sub-component group (34) arranged on the door, wherein a transmission device (38) inductively coupling the first and second sub-component groups. Inductively transmitting of energy from the appliance body into the door can avoid the use of electrical contacts that are prone to soiling and that contact each other when the door (18) is closed, and also can avoid the use of electrical leads that are significantly subjected to bending loads to bridge the distance from the appliance body to the door.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to an electric household appliance (i.e. a household appliance), wherein in particular electrical energy is transmitted from the appliance body to the door of the appliance in order to feed one or more electrical loads (consumers) arranged on the door supplied with the transmitted electrical energy. Background technique [0002] Typical household appliances such as washing machines, dishwashers, ovens or freezers have an appliance body in which a working chamber is formed which can be closed off by a door which is usually pivotably arranged on the appliance body. Depending on the appliance type of the domestic appliance, the working room is, for example, a wet room (washing room or rinsing room), a cold room (for keeping food products frozen above and / or below freezing point) or a cooking room. [0003] As a rule, in household appliances, electrical loads of the type considered here are located not only in the appliance body, but...
