Problems solved by technology

Using the above search method in a large-scale antenna array system will cause a huge beam training overhead
Especially in dynamic or time-varying scenarios, frequent switching of beams is required to obtain high-speed transmission rates, but the rapidly changing mmWave channel cannot achieve frequent and accurate beam training due to short coherence time, which also brings challenges to beam training

Embodiment Construction

[0072] The intelligent beam training algorithm proposed in the present invention will be further explained below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings and specific embodiments.

[0073] The intelligent beam training method, device and system in the millimeter wave communication system proposed by the embodiments of the present invention can effectively determine the interval where the best beam of the next time slot is located by continuously interacting with the environment and sensing the rate of change of the communication environment. In general, since this interval is much smaller than the entire codebook space, the training overhead will be reduced accordingly, and the throughput of the system will be effectively improved. In addition, the method does not require prior knowledge related to channel modeling and can be applied to more complex dynamic scenarios.

Abstract

The invention discloses an intelligent wave beam training method and a precoding system in millimeter wave communication, and the intelligent wave beam training method determines a codebook interval where an optimal wave beam is located through sensing the change of an environment by utilizing the space-time correlation of a channel. Specifically, a Markov decision process (MDP) is used for modeling a problem; solution is carried out based on deep reinforcement learning, a graphical state space is innovatively constructed to effectively utilize structural information of a channel beam space, and a differentiated action space is provided to improve learning efficiency and convergence speed. The change rate of the environment can be sensed, and the beam training interval is adaptively adjusted, so that the beam training overhead is reduced, and meanwhile, the throughput of the system is effectively improved.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of wireless communication, and in particular relates to a precoding system of an intelligent beam training method in a millimeter wave communication system. Background technique [0002] The explosive growth in mobile data demand is posing unprecedented challenges for wireless service providers to overcome due to bandwidth shortages. As a key technology, millimeter wave has attracted widespread attention due to its large bandwidth characteristics that can meet the needs of high-speed data services. Compared with microwaves, mmWave signals have more serious path loss due to their short wavelength, but the path loss can be offset by installing a large-scale antenna array at the receiving / transmitting end. Considering the power consumption and cost of radio frequency (RF) links, mmWave communication systems usually adopt a mixed-analog-digital architecture, where the number of RF links is far less than the number of ant...
