The invention discloses an inter-province power transaction settlement method and system. The method comprises the steps of: obtaining power settlement data including contracts corresponding to each medium and long-term transaction, of the medium and long-term transactions, decomposing the contracts to obtain corresponding transaction plan data, and generating scheduling plan data, TMR data and headquarter calculation amount data based on each piece of transaction plan data; based on the transaction direct current type and two transaction parties, establishing a corresponding relationship among the transaction plan data, the scheduling plan data and headquarters settlement data; for each medium-and-long-term transaction, generating a deviation electric quantity by utilizing the schedulingplan data corresponding to the contracts and the headquarters settlement data; distributing the deviation electric quantity to daily scheduling plan quantities in the scheduling plan data to obtain the daily actual execution quantity of each medium-and-long-term transaction; and based on the transaction price and transaction volume specified in the contract of each medium-and-long-term transaction, calculating the electric charge of each medium-and-long-term transaction. According to the method and system of the technical schemes of the invention, automatic settlement of the medium-and-long-term transactions can be realized.
