Abstract

The invention provides an iterative method for calculating the average velocity of seismic wave rays in a horizontal layered medium. The method comprises the steps: drilling a hole in a horizontal layered isotropic continuous medium exploration region, and performing drilling to a target layer; determining the layering thickness and the layering speed of the horizontal layered medium by using a seismic logging method; arranging longitudinal measuring lines, and determining offset distances of recording points; determining a ray constant through iterative operation; and determining the ray average speed using a ray constant. At present, the average speed in seismic exploration only reflects the change along with the depth, and the change of the average speed in the horizontal direction is not considered, so that errors are generated in the seismic exploration due to offset change and exploration results, and when the offset is large, large errors are often generated. According to the method, on the premise that the geophone offset is determined, iterative operation is carried out by taking the ray constant as a variable, and after the ray constant is determined, the ray average speed under the condition that the geophone offset is determined can be calculated. The average speed of the rays is closer to the real propagation speed of seismic waves, so that the exploration result is more accurate.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of seismic exploration, in particular to an iterative method for calculating the average velocity of seismic wave rays in a horizontal layered medium. Background technique [0002] Seismic wave propagation velocity is one of the most important and basic parameters in seismic exploration. When performing time-depth conversion, the average velocity is used. The average velocity is defined as the ratio of the total thickness of the layered medium to the travel time of the seismic wave in the direction perpendicular to the stratum in the case of a multi-layer medium; when performing migration and other processing, it is used The average ray velocity, the average ray velocity is defined as the ratio of the total distance traveled by the seismic wave along a certain ray to the time it takes; when performing motion correction processing or hyperbolic fitting involving the measured time-distance curve, the stacking ...
