[0026] As mentioned earlier, rice is one of the most important crops, and it is necessary to maintain or increase the growth of rice in order to meet the demands of the world's growing population. However, rice is not a plant that can easily grow anywhere under all conditions, and rice plants must overcome many different...

Abstract

The present invention relates to a recombinant gene for improving herbicide, bacterial and fungal resistance as well as providing enhanced agronomic traits, the recombinant gene is characterized by nucleic acids comprising a first EPSPS gene with amino acid sequence of SEQ ID no. 1 and a second EPSPS gene with amino acid sequence of SEQ ID no. 2, wherein the recombinant gene is fused with a gene encoding a transcription factor with amino acid sequence of SEQ ID no. 3.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates generally to recombinant DNA technology. In particular, the present invention relates to recombinant genes and plants that have been transformed using the recombinant genes such that the plants have herbicide, bacterial and fungal resistance and enhanced agronomic traits. Background technique [0002] Rice is one of the major food crops in the world where rice is mostly consumed by Asians but is also famous in other parts of the world. Therefore, it is important to keep rice growing and harvesting to feed people around the world. However, to keep growing and harvesting, researchers and scientists must face many challenges. One of the notable challenges is the growing population, which increases the demand for rice. Rice producers and farmers must ensure that crops grow sufficiently to feed people around the world. Over the years, many studies and experiments have been conducted and countless literature and papers have ...
