Abstract

The invention provides a deep-color near-infrared-transmitting polypropylene compound and a preparation method thereof. The deep-color near-infrared-transmitting polypropylene compound comprises the following components: 98-99 parts of polypropylene resin; 0.2-0.8 part of a nucleating agent; 0.2-0.8 part of an organic pigment; and 0-2 parts of other additives. According to the polypropylene compound, the nucleating agent is added, so that in the crystallization process of a polypropylene material, the spherical crystal size is reduced through the heterogeneous nucleation effect, refraction and reflection of visible light and light waves in a near-infrared region are reduced, and thereby a high light transmission effect is achieved; meanwhile, the phthalocyanine pigment molecules are planar macrocyclic conjugated systems composed of four isoindole units; and indole is also called benzopyrrole and has similar results with DPP and has little influence on infrared light transmittance, so that by compounding the several pigments, a dark-color material can be prepared, wherein the material molecules have very excellent infrared transmittance and can be widely applied to the field of household appliance remote control.
