The method comprises the following steps: when a multicast joining request sent by an ONU corresponding to a logic slice is received, forwarding the multicast joining request to a plurality of content providing platforms corresponding to the logic slice; respectively operating multicast forwarding table items of a plurality of physical slices corresponding to the plurality of content providing platforms based on the multicast joining request; and when a multicast data stream issued by a target content providing platform based on the multicast joining request is received, sending the multicast data stream to the ONU based on the multicast forwarding table item. According to the invention, for the ONU subscribing to a plurality of content providing platforms under the logic slice, when the multicast data on different content providing platforms are forwarded for the ONU, the forwarding surfaces of the physical slices corresponding to the different content providing platforms are multiplexed, and the service requirement that the same ONU accesses channels of IPTV servers of different content service providers is met.
