Abstract

The invention discloses a method for improving BGP peer jitter alarm readability in an IP network. The method comprises the following steps: step 1, receiving corresponding BGP peer jitter alarm information uploaded by BGP peer jitter trigger equipment in the network; step 2, formatting the BGP peer jitter alarm information according to a preset format; step 3, extracting a target IP address with a BGP peer state change from the formatted BGP peer jitter alarm information with a uniform format, and querying from a pre-established dynamically updated network equipment interface IP and network equipment information association relationship table by taking the target IP address as a query condition, and obtaining an opposite terminal device name corresponding to the IP address in the network; and step 4, replacing the target IP address of which the state of the BGP peer changes in the alarm information with the obtained name of the opposite-end equipment so as to obtain BGP peer jitter alarm information with improved readability.
