Abstract

A content requester initiates a data request, and sends an interest packet through all available forwarding interfaces; a router receives the interest packet, and sequentially retrieves the content storage, pending interest table, and Forward the information base, and determine whether to send or update the router’s pending interest table to the next-level router or discard it.
