Abstract

A system for dispensing perishable items is described. The system comprises a manufacturer and a manufacturer. These manufacturers and manufacturers deliver their products to a distribution point. A terminal user of the system places an order through a user-defined interface, and specifies specific time and position for picking up goods. Before the goods are picked up, the manufacturer or the manufacturer delivers the goods to the goods picking place. The system uses a data exchange system to communicate user orders from an end user interface to manufacturers, manufacturers, and delivery points and to arrange perishable items for delivery at the delivery points.

Description

[0001] This application claims priority to U.S. Provisional Application No. 62 / 846,437, filed May 10, 2019, the contents of which are incorporated herein by reference. technical field [0002] The field of the invention is an integrated system that facilitates the distribution of perishable items and methods of using the system to efficiently distribute items to customers. Background technique [0003] In various embodiments, the present invention provides a system and method for dispatching inventory to end users. [0004] In one embodiment, the inventive system includes several logical and physical layers. At one level, end-customers interact with the system through requested items, such as using appropriate applications on dedicated or general-purpose computing devices. The request is forwarded to the delivery network, which delivers the requested item to the designated delivery point. The user is then requested to retrieve the item at the delivery point, optionally sel...
