Abstract

The invention provides a power electronic converter, a resonance balance circuit and a control method thereof.According to the resonance balance circuit, a resonance assembly is arranged between the midpoints of switching tubes connected with half-bus capacitors, and the resonance assembly can conduct energy transfer on the two half-bus capacitors by controlling on-off of the switching tubes, so that the power electronic converter is achieved. Voltage balance between the two half-bus capacitors is realized; moreover, the on-off state of each switch tube is set to be switched when the resonance current of the resonance assembly is zero, so that the soft switching control of each switch tube can be realized, and the loss is reduced. In addition, only four power devices, namely the first to fourth switch tubes, are needed in the resonance balance circuit, so that the problem of high cost caused by a large number of power devices is avoided.
