Abstract

An exercise dumbbell comprising a tubular body (10) and associated U-shaped handles (12) for ambidextrous use. The main body includes a DC motor (30) matched with a fixed central shaft (36) through gears (32, 34), which can rotate around the shaft and generate strong vibration. A battery (48) is provided in the handle, and the motor speed can be changed from zero to a maximum value by hand acting on a pressure-activated switch (28). A function switch on the main body can reverse the direction of rotation (64) of the motor, allowing one-handed operation, two-handed operation (66) or hands-free operation (68). The function switch can also provide music (74) through the built-in speaker (76), and generate exciting pulses (73).
