Problems solved by technology

So, a lot of heat energy will be lost when ventilating, not only consumes a lot of energy, but also takes a long time to cool or heat the room again
[0010] In addition, the sudden introduction of hot or cold outdoor air into the room can cause a sudden change in the room temperature, making the occupants feel uncomfortable
And it is inconvenient to open a door or window without shutting down the ventilation unit used to exhaust indoor air to the outside while it is in operation

Embodiment Construction

[0037] Preferred embodiments of the present invention, examples shown in the accompanying drawings, will now be described in detail. In the described embodiments, the same components have the same names and reference numerals, and repeated descriptions are omitted.

[0038] The air conditioning system of the present invention constitutes a ceiling type air conditioner in which an indoor unit is installed in a ceiling. The air conditioning system of the present invention ventilates the indoor air, and during the ventilation process, the air supplied to the room recovers heat from the air discharged to the outside. The air conditioning system of the present invention will now be described in more detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. Reference, figure 1 Schematically represents an air conditioning system according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, figure 2 Indicates a ceiling-mounted figure 1 Bottom-up view of the air conditioning system show...

Abstract

Air conditioning system including an outdoor unit, a compact indoor unit (10), air supply duct (20), air discharge duct (30), and preheat exchanger(40). An indoor heat exchanger (100) in the indoor unit (10) has a space therein in communication with a room, a fan (200) in the indoor unit (10) provided in the space draws air and discharges through the indoor heat exchanger (100). A ventilation guide duct (300) in the indoor unit (10) on an underside of the indoor heat exchanger (100) has a partition wall (316) for separating external air supplied from an outside of the room, and room air, for guiding the external air to the room through the fan (200), and the room air to the outside of the room. The air supply duct (20) and the air discharge duct (30) have one ends connected to the ventilation guide duct (300) for guiding the external air to the room, and the room air to the outside of the room, respectively. The preheat exchanger (40) is provided in the middle of the air supply duct (20) and the air discharge duct (30), for indirect heat exchange of the external air and the room air passing through the air supply duct (20) and the air discharge duct (30).

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to an air conditioning system, and more particularly, to an air conditioning system in which an indoor unit is installed on a ceiling and air ducts for ventilation are combined into one compact unit. [0002] This application claims the priority of Korean Application No. P2003-35982 filed on June 4, 2003, which is incorporated by reference in this application. Background technique [0003] An air conditioner is a device that cools or heats a room by utilizing the properties of a refrigerant that releases heat to or absorbs heat from the environment when it undergoes a phase change. [0004] Generally speaking, an air conditioner is provided with an indoor unit and an outdoor unit, wherein an air conditioner with an integrated indoor unit and an outdoor unit is called a unitary air conditioner, while an air conditioner with an indoor unit and an outdoor unit assembled separately It is called a split air conditioner.
