[0020] Referring now to the drawings, FIGS. 1 and 2 illustrate a prior art injection port 10 . Injection port 10 has substantially a frusto-conical configuration and includes a body portion 12 , a housing 14 , a sealing element 16 and a conduit element 18 . The body portion 12 is made of a flexible rubberized material with a cavity 20 formed inside. The conduit support 22 is integrally formed in the body portion 12 . Housing 14 is made of corrosion resistant metal and has a reduced, upwardly facing access channel 24 . The sealing element 16 is made of a rubberized material which is easily penetrated by a hypodermic needle or the like and provides a penetrable seal for the channel 24 . Housing 14 and sealing member 16 define an open cavity 20 in injection port 10 for receiving and containing fluid.
