Benefits of technology

[0004] The boat trailer has the shape of a normal boat with a curved bow and a straight rear end. The boat is a vessel for transport by water and on water and is so constructed to provide buoyancy by excluding water from the interior and is so shaped to provide stability while being towed. In order to enhance the stability of the boat trailer, the bottom of the boat trailer is not a single hull but is constructed to resemble that of a catamaran including two hulls that are spaced from each other to provide a tunnel so that the high powered stream of water emanating from the water exhaust of the towing water craft passes through the tunnel and underneath the trailer without disturbing the stability or balance of the towed vessel. Another advantage of the double hull construction is that boat trailer can easily by pulled out of the water and onto a beach, whereby the spaced apart hulls will stabilize the boat without tipping over as a one hull boat would do. The boat trailer is so constructed that many items can be stored therein, such as luggage or picnic essentials including food. The top of the boat trailer can be opened by way of a cover having a hinge and must be sealed against moisture or water entering into the interior of the storage area. The top of the cover can receive or can be made as a cushion for a person to sit on when traveling on water. A forward handle would be instrumental for the person to hang onto when traveling for reasons of safety.

Problems solved by technology

Such crafts are quite compact and are not designed to carry many items for personal use of the driver and / or the second passenger.
Motor cycles face the same problem of not being able to carry many extra items of luggage or personal use.
Such a motor cycle trailer is not suitable to carry an extra passenger because of safety concerns.

Embodiment Construction

[0011] Referring now to FIG. 1 there is shown a towing vessel 1 and a towed vessel 2. The towing vessel 1 is a well known construction of jet ski or personal water craft they may come in many different models, but the basic concept remains the same and that is to use it as a towing vessel to tow the boat trailer 2. The boat trailer is preferably made or molded of fiberglass. This is preferred to increase the durability of the vessel, the sturdiness and the water proof characteristic of the vessel at 3 there is shown a tow bar between the two vessels. It should be a rigid connection to enhance the position between the two vessels when traveling so that they cannot collide with each other. On the other hand, the tow bar 3 should be hinged at each end to the towing vehicle 1 and the towed vehicle 2. This a must, so when traveling, each of the vessels can follow its own water wave action. FIG. 1 also shows the bottom construction of the boat trailer as consisting of two hulls 4. This co...

Abstract

A personal water craft such as a water ski jet pulls a boat trailer that is designed to carry extra baggage for personal use or other endeavors. The boat trailer is designed with two hulls that are separated from each other to form a tunnel there between. The tunnel is designed to accommodate the high pressure water stream that is emanating from the water jet ski without upsetting the balance of the towed vessel. The boat trailer has a top container installed on the basic structure by leaving foot rests on a planar surface. The top container has a cushion thereon for a person to sit on and with the feet of that person resting on the foot rests. A handle bar provides safety for the person sitting on top of the container. The top of the container has a hinged cover thereon to be able to gain access into the interior of the top container and the interior of the basic construction of the boat trailer.

Description

FIELD OF THE INVENTION [0001] The invention discloses a boat trailer that is attached a ski jet or a personal water craft and is to be towed by the same. The boat trailer can be used for carrying or transporting another person and for storing items that cannot be stored on the jet ski water craft. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION [0002] The use of ski jets or personal water crafts is well known. These crafts normally carry only one person or in some cases a second person sitting behind the first person or the driver of the craft. Such crafts are quite compact and are not designed to carry many items for personal use of the driver and / or the second passenger. Towed trailers are known in conjunction with motor cycles. Motor cycles face the same problem of not being able to carry many extra items of luggage or personal use. Such motor cycle trailers are constructed as containers having a closeable top to conceal whatever is stored in the container and to water proof the content in inclement...
