Benefits of technology

The invention is about a new type of foot orthotic that helps improve resilience and reduces bending. The edge of the orthotic is designed to be turned upwards, which makes it more flexible and comfortable for the person wearing them. The blank of copper-containing material is pressed using rolling or a machine press to achieve a smooth and polished edge. Ultimately, this new design provides better support and comfort for those who need it.

Problems solved by technology

Incorporation of copper into these soft materials is often complex and numerous production steps are needed to provide the finished article.
