A general processing method for mapping the key property index KPI to the key quality index KQI is disclosed which improve the hierarchical structure of TMP key index: the product KQI is boiled down to a index which is converged by all KQI, every KQI is converged by several network KPI, every network KPI is converged by several bottom indexes with the same and / or different bottom; following said steps the bottom network KPI is converged into top service KQI: (1) sets the mapping flow: sets the flow and the relative parameters that maps the bottom network system KPI into the top service KQI; (2) property measuring and calculating: calculates the KQI value of top service according to the real physical measuring value and formula of bottom network system. The method can compensate for the disadvantages that TMP present method can not converges the index with different dimension and different physical means, it can reflect the running state of whole business or network system just need to extract little meaning indexes, and especial fit for the development of 3G business and network management.
