Abstract

This invention discloses a system and a method used in using the position information of an IP terminal to select routes in mobile IP phone network, when sending a call from an IP terminal to another user, the method detects if the position information of the IP terminal is needed by the call, if so, the position information is added into call data, then a target address is determined based on the call data and the position information, and finally, the call is sent to the determined target address.
