Abstract

The present invention discloses an electric energy meter calibration stand and a calibration method. The electric energy meter comprises a power source, a standard electric energy meter and an electric energy meter position. Wherein, the power source outputs AC electric power to the standard electric energy meter and an electric energy meter to be calibrated is inserted in the electric energy meter position to respectively generate a standard electric energy pulse and a calibrated electric energy pulse. The electric energy meter calibration stand is additionally composed of an electric energyerror calculator. The electric energy error calculator is composed of a counter and a timer, of which the counter collects and works out quantity of the standard electric energy pulse and the calibrated electric energy pulse. Moreover, the timer collects and measures width of the standard electric energy pulse in each period, thus calculating quantity of the standard electric energy pulse in the collection period and accurately working out pulse error of the calibrated electric energy meter. The error calculator of the electric energy meter calibration stand of the present invention extends quantity of the standard electric energy pulse to decimal fraction, reduces pulse error and improves calibration accuracy with the calibrated electric energy pulse as a collection reference.
