Abstract

The invention relates to a portable device, such as the mobile telephone, the handheld computer or the Palm computer, which comprises at least two shell components moving with each other and at least one spring element provided with two articulated equipments, wherein, a first articulated equipment is at least indirectly provided to a first shell component, a second articulated equipment is at least indirectly provided to a second shell component, and the spring element starts from a first terminal position of the shell component until to a force reverse position to be loaded a spring force in the condition that the shell components relatively move with each other. The spring force pushes the shell components into a second terminal position in the condition that the shell components continue to process relative movement and the spring force is reduced. The mechanism used for starting and closing of the portable device of the invention is greatly simplified and occupies less construction space. According to the invention, the spring element is structured into a C-shaped spring, can be asway supported in the device, and implements a pendulum motion parallel to a motion orbit of the shell components when the shell components relatively move.
