The battery set consists of a plurality of batteries, wherein the plurality of parallel connected batteries form parallel battery sets, and the plurality of parallel connected battery sets are connected in series to form a battery set; and the quantities of the batteries in the plurality of battery sets are the same. The battery capacity detection device comprises a plurality of resistors, a plurality of voltage sensors, a plurality of current sensors and a calculating unit, wherein the plurality of resistors are connected among the plurality of parallel connected batteries to ensure that each resistor with the same resistance value is respectively connected between any two batteries in each parallel connected battery set; the plurality of voltage sensors are used for detecting the voltage values of voltage at two ends of the resistors with the same resistance value; the plurality of current sensors are used for detecting the current values of current flowing into corresponding batteries; and the calculating unit is used for judging the capacity recession condition of the plurality of batteries. The invention also discloses a battery device with a capacity detection function. According to the invention, the capacity of the batteries can be detected in real time so as to replace the batteries and prolong the service life of the battery set; and the device is convenient for being used on an electric vehicle.
