Abstract

The invention discloses a method and a system for distribution of configuration information. The method comprises the following steps: after determining that configuration information of a peer-to-peer network is altered, a configuration server issues the altered configuration information to a guiding node of the peer-to-peer network; and the guiding node issues the configuration information to other nodes except for the guiding node in the peer-to-peer network. Owing to the adoption of the invention, the configuration information of peer nodes in the peer-to-peer network can be synchronized with the configuration information of the configuration server timely.
