Abstract

The invention discloses a novel multi-carboxyl and phosphorus-free polycarboxylic acid scale inhibitor, which is prepared by, by mass weight, 20-50 parts of CH2=CR COOM or maleic anhydride or its sodium salt, 10-40 parts of CH2=CRCON(CH2COOM)2, 10-40 parts of CH2=CRCH2SO3Na, with R equal to H or CH3 and M equal to H or Na, 2-10 parts of ammonium persulfate as initiator, and 100-200 parts of water. The scale inhibitor of the invention present scale inhibiting performance for calcium carbonate scale, barium sulfate scale, strontium sulfate scale and the like, and is also characterized by phosphorus-free, stable in molecular structure and heat resisting. With wide applicability, the scale inhibitor of the invention can be applied to the treatment of recirculated cooling water, oil recovery and water injection, with the advantages of small amount of the inhibitor, good effect and significant benefit.
