Abstract

The invention discloses an intelligent entrance guard system based on the combination of internet of things and a face detection technology and a detection method thereof. The system provided by the invention comprises an equipment node of the internet of things, a mobile node and a management platform, wherein the equipment node of the internet of things further contain a monitor module, a face detection module, an information acquisition module, a control module and an information transmission module. The detection method is as follows: when a person who carries the mobile node approaches the entrance guard system, the mobile node searches and accesses to the equipment node of the internet of things; the equipment node receives mobile node data and sends the data to the management platform, and the face detection module simultaneously is started to carry out on-site face detection; if detected that the face number equals to valid mobile node number, the person is valid and can be released; if detected the face number dose not equal to the valid mobile node number as well as corresponding personnel information, there must be detection omission or the worker gets out of line and carries the mobile node, then an alarm sounds.
