Embodiment Construction

[0014] figure 1 A partial schematic cross-sectional view of a water-operated domestic appliance 1 according to an exemplary embodiment is shown. In particular, the water-operated domestic appliance 1 can be embodied as a laundry treatment appliance and can be used for washing and / or drying. In particular, the water-operated household appliance 1 can be embodied as a washer-dryer. However, the water-operated domestic appliance 1 is also suitable for other applications when modified in a correspondingly suitable manner.

[0015] The water-operated domestic appliance 1 has a container 2 which is embodied as a bucket enclosing a treatment area 3 . The treatment area 3 is used, for example, to accommodate laundry, which can be washed and then dried. A pause may be provided between the washing and drying process so that some laundry may be removed before drying.

[0016] The water-operated domestic appliance 1 also has an inlet section 4 via which clean water can be introduced i...

Abstract

The invention relates to a water-bearing household appliance (1), in particular a laundry treating device for washing and drying laundry, comprising a treatment region (3) having at least one inlet location (16) and a water reservoir device (10). The water reservoir device (10) is connected to the inlet location (16) of the treatment region (3). The water reservoir device (10) further comprises a suction lift (27). When operating the water-bearing household appliance (1), the water reservoir device (10) forms a reliable vapor barrier during a washing or drying process. Spillage of water and, therefore, undesired outflow of water from the water reservoir device (10) into the treatment region (3) is thus prevented.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a water operated household appliance, in particular a laundry treatment appliance for washing and drying laundry. The invention relates in particular to the field of washer-dryers combining the washing and drying functions in one appliance. Background technique [0002] In a washer-dryer, fresh water, in some cases carrying laundry treatment agents, can be introduced into the tub via the inlet section during the washing process. This leads to the problem that moisture can escape via the inlet section during the washing or drying process. [0003] Elbow sections can be integrated into the inlet section to hold a certain volume of water and thus form a moisture barrier. However, a disadvantage of said moisture barriers is that water can be splashed due to vibrations or the like, causing water to enter the treatment area during the drying process. Contents of the invention [0004] The object of the present invention ...
