Abstract

The method comprises the following steps: a GRE (Generic Routing Encapsulation) tunnel is set between a terminal and a CGN (Code Generation Network) through a PPTP (Point To Point Tunneling Protocol) message interaction process; the terminal receives a public network address distributed by a PPTP server module on the CGN or the public network address and a port range thereof; and the terminal uses the public network address or the public network address and the port range thereof to send a follow-up message to the CGN through the GRE tunnel. The public network address or the public network address and the port range thereof are directly distributed to the terminal, therefore network address translation on network equipment can be avoided, the network speed is increased, and the network quality is also increased.
